Bozavox Share (“the site”, at share.bozavox.com) is run by Bozavox (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1. Using the site
Anyone can browse, listen to and download sounds. To share or report sounds you need an account with a confirmed email address. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age where you live) to create an account. Keep your password safe; you’re responsible for what happens under your account.
2. Your sounds
You keep ownership of the sounds you upload. By uploading, you confirm that you made the sound or have all the rights needed to share it, and that sharing it doesn’t break any law or anyone else’s rights. You are solely responsible for what you upload.
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, convert, display and distribute your sound (and its demo, title, description and tags) on the site and in Bozavox apps, so that we can run Bozavox Share. This licence ends when you delete the sound, except for copies we keep as described in section 5.
You also choose a licence for other users when you upload (for example “Free to use, credit appreciated”, Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, or “Personal use only”). That licence is between you and the people who download your sound.
3. Downloading sounds
Sounds are shared by other users, not by us. Use each sound only as its uploader’s licence allows. We don’t check every upload and can’t promise that any sound is free of other people’s rights.
4. Rules
Follow the Guidelines. Don’t try to get around the site’s limits or checks, interfere with the site, or access accounts or data that aren’t yours.
5. Moderation and removal
We may hide, remove or refuse any sound, and suspend or close any account, at our discretion, including when a sound is reported. Reported sounds are hidden while we review them. When we remove a sound, we may keep a private copy and a fingerprint of it, to handle copyright counter-notices and to stop the same audio being uploaded again. 6. Privacy
We store your email address (never shown to others), your display name (shown next to your sounds), what you upload, and basic records such as upload and report times. We use them only to run the site. Account sign-in is provided by Supabase and files are stored with Cloudflare. You can delete your sounds at any time; to delete your account, email us.
7. No warranty
The site is provided “as is”, free of charge, without warranties of any kind. It may change, be unavailable, or lose data. Keep your own copies of your sounds.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for content uploaded by users. Our total liability for anything relating to the site is limited to US $50.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we’ll note them on the site. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
